Launch a chatbot

After you have made sure that everything is functioning properly, you must launch your chatbot to start collecting live data. If you don’t, all data will remain in preview mode. Here are the steps for Launching your chatbot.

  1. Check the “Launch Chatbot” button that can be found either at the top of the project or under the Collect tab.

  2. Make sure you verify that you have complete the necessary suggestions on the modal and checked any injected placeholder values. These will be listed in the modal if found.

  3. Click “Launch.” Your chatbot had now been switched to “Collecting” mode.

  4. There are now a couple new buttons available at the top of the project: Interview Link and Data Export. Use the Interview Link button to copy and share your live chatbot (note: if you're embedding the interview in an iframe, you'll need to share the link to the system where you’ve used the embed code). Once you have sufficient data, use the Data Export button to download your data in the desired format. We offer both Raw Readable and Raw Tabular.
