There are a few different ways that you can messages your interview participants. All of these messages are optional.
Welcome Screen Text
The welcome screen text shows up in a full-screen dialog box prior to your interviewees getting started. Since it has complete focus, it’s a great place to welcome them, give an overview and set expectations of the interview they are about to complete.
There is no default for this message. If you leave this input blank, no message will appear and your participants will jump straight into the interview.
Interview Intro Text
This is the very first message a participant will see when starting the interview and will be presented as a message bubble from the chatbot.
There is no default for this message. If left blank there will not be an explicit message display, though the chatbot will generally greet the participants with a generic welcome message as it’s a pretty friendly bot.
Closing Message
The Closing Message is the only message that is set to a default. That message reads:
Thank you for taking the interview. Your responses have been recorded.
You are welcome to leave it as it, make adjustments or delete it altogether. Should you remove it, no message will be shown at the end of the interview. As with the intro message, the chatbot generally wraps up the interview.
