Global Chatbot Options

Global chatbot options apply to the entire chatbot and can be found by clicking the gear icon in the upper right of the Design tab (center on mobile). The available options are Follow-up Depth and Redirect Link.

Follow-up Depth

Follow-up Depth determines how many follow-up questions the AI asks per initial question. The default is 1-2 follow-up questions, meaning for each question you create, the chatbot will ask 1-2 additional related questions to dig deeper. The other options are "No follow-ups" and "Ask at most 1 follow-up per question."

Please note that these are suggestions and aren’t always steadfast rules.

Multiple choice questions automatically default to no follow-ups, regardless of your global setting. Keep in mind that these are suggestions rather than strict rules - the AI uses its judgment. You can also override this global setting for individual questions, as explained in the Writing Interview Questions section.

Redirect Link

To redirect participants immediately after completing the interview, add the desired URL to this field. This can be any legitimate URL, such as a thank you page, landing page, or company homepage. You can also inject the participant's unique response ID (RTID) into the URL for tracking purposes. If this field is left blank, no redirect will occur.
